Abstract:

PURPOSE: To surely draw in an asymmetry correction amount by switching a switch means to an asymmetry detection circuit when a difference between a level of an asymmetry detection signal and a level of a mean value signal becomes a prescribed value or below.
CONSTITUTION: The digital signal reproducing device is switched to a mean value circuit 8 side by a control circuit 4 in the initial state, and when a clock reproducing circuit 11 becomes to be in a lock state, and when the level of the asymmetry detection signal from the asymmetry detection circuit 14 becomes a prescribed value or above, a switch means 9 is switched to the asymmetry detection circuit 14 side. In such a case, even in a modulation system with a DC component, and even when no data lock is reproduced, asymmetry is detected effectively, and the asymmetry correction amount is surely drawn within a prescribed draw range even when a lock of a PLL comes off.
