PURPOSE: To enable various kinds of image processing through making a picture recorded in cine-film able to be observed like an image from a TV camera by installing a multiplexer which changes over an output from the first TV camera to that from the second TV camera and send it to a A/D converter.

CONSTITUTION: An output optical image from a detector 2 is picked up and converted into electric signals by the first TV camera 3, and those signals are displayed as an image by a memory 5 through an operation unit 6 and an image display equipment 7 after they are converted into digital signals by an A/D converter 4. On the other hand, in case of recording the image with a cine-camera 11, a transmission X-ray image of a subject body 10 is converted by the detector 2 into an optical image, which is distributed to the cine-camera 11 by a distributor 12 and recorded there as a cine-film picture. In case of displaying a cine-film picture with the image display equipment 7, the picture is picked up by the second TV camera 14 through a cine-projector 13, and the output from that camera 14 is made to pass through a multiplexer (switch) 15, converted into digital signals by the A/D converter 4 and displayed by the operation unit 6, the memory 5 and the image display equipment 7.
