PURPOSE: To automatically set a cover with hinges to the open state by providing supports, which set the cover to the open state, on the cover and a digitizer tablet with back illumination.

CONSTITUTION: A support 12 is composed of a first support 40 and a second support 42, and they are connected to a cover 14 and a base part 20 respectively by fulcrums. Each of supports 40 and 42 is provided with a first arm 46 which has one end connected to the cover 14 by a fulcrum and a second arm 47 which has one end connected to the base part 20 by a fulcrum, and these arms 46 and 47 have the other ends connected by a pivot joint 48. A bracket 54 connected to the base part 20 connects arms 48 to the base part 20, and a bracket 56 connects arms 46 to the cover 14. Pivot joints 48, 58, and 59 may be simple, that is, it is sufficient it pivot pins 60 pass aim holes 61 in arm connection parts as shown in the figure. Brackets 56 and 58 are fixed to the cover 14 and the base part 20 by fasteners, an adhesive, welding, or the like.
