Abstract:
To provide a golf ball having dimples of fixed uniformity and fixed dispersion by cramming dimples in a space left on the surface of the golf ball.
This golf ball is provided with an outer surface having dimples positioned according to the polyhedron structure which is not geodetic 9-degree and 20-hedron. Preferably, the dimples are first positioned by disposing in points of intersection of a great circle connecting the sides of polyhedron segments constituting each polyhedron structure. The outer surface of the golf ball according to the polyhedron structure which is not geodetic 9-degree and 20-hedron is filled with dimples different in size and number.
