This fuel composition comprises (A) a major amount of usual liquid fuel and (B) a small amount of compound of formula I [X is O or S; R1 to R6 are each H, a ≤24C hydrocarbyl or a group of formula II to IV (R7 is a ≤24C hydrocarbyl; R8 is H or a ≤24C hydrocarbyl), with the proviso that one or more groups of R1 to R6 are not H]. Furthermore, it is preferable that an amount of the component B added is in the range of 10 ppm to 1% based on total weight of the fuel composition.
