Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R1 is F, lower fluoroalkyl or lower fluoroalkoxy; R2 is halogen or H; R3 is halogen; n is 1 or 2). EXAMPLE:2-(4-Chloro-2,5-difluoroanilino)-3,5-dinitrobenzotrifluo-ride. USE:A harmful organism controller useful as a plant blight controller, insecticide, acaricide, herbicide, industrial germicide, hygienic processing agent, cleaning agent, etc. PREPARATION:2-Chloro-3,5-dinitrobenzotrifluoride shown by formula II is reacted with a substituted aniline compound shown by formula III to give a compound shown by formula I. The reaction is generally carried out in the presence of a proper acid binder and an inert solvent (e.g., benzene or toluene) at -20-100 deg.C, usually 0-50 deg.C.
