PURPOSE: To form a device to small size, by magnetically attracting an empty can from the back side of a non-magnetic material disc secured with an elastic material to the front side, rotatively moving the disc to a prescribed angle under a condition the can is attracted and releasing the magnetic attraction.

CONSTITUTION: An empty can (a) transferred on a conveyer 12 parllelly with a fixed interval apart is attracted to the surface of a non-magnetic material disc 1 in the final end part by the magnetic force of a magnet 8 provided throughout a range of about 240°. The disc 1 is turned under a condition the can (a) is attracted, if rotated about 240° from the initial attractive position to reach an empty can detaching point, no presence of the magnet 8 releases the attraction to detach and drop the can (a) from the disc 1 to a chute 11 then a direction of the can is changed. By this constitution, a device can be formed to small size by simple constitution.
