Four RF signals extracted through an antenna changeover switch 20, are applied to a phaser 30, the respective variable phase set RF signals are mixed by a mixer 40 and afterwards, the RF signals outputted from an FM/AM and TV diversity processing circuit 50 is applied to an FM/AM and TV tuner 60. Based on an information signal S1 showing the receiving state applied from the diversity processing circuit 50, a central processing unit 70 performs the optimum operation of directivity at the point of time. Corresponding to the result of this operation, a change command signal S2 for an antenna element is applied to the changeover switch 20 and a change command signal S3 for changing the mutual phase relation of RF signals is applied to the phaser 30.
