Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directly energized hardening apparatus for thin work which can handle thin works of different sizes when the difference is not so large.
SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a first conductor part 100 having a first contacting part 100 brought into contact with one end of a hardening zone of the thin work W to form a hardening layer, a second conductor part 200 having a second contacting part 210 brought into contact with the other end of the above hardening zone, an adjusting part 300 shifting both conductor parts 100, 200 to change a distance between the first contacting part 110 and the second contacting part 210, and a cooling jacket 800 for cooling the heated thin work W, and a second pipe 230 constituted of the above second conductor part 200 is faced to the hardening zone.
