To supply the power to repeaters even in a disaster mode and to attain the reception through a terminal with higher reliability by supplying the power to a 1st node and then to the repeaters connected to the 1st node from the head end of a broadcasting station.
The TV high frequency signals are sent to a 1st node 42 from a head end 41 via an optical fiber 43, and the single-phase AC200V is sent from the end 41 via the cable 43. A transformer 46 is placed ahead the node 42 to drop the transmission voltage down to 60V by the transformer 46. Then the voltage of 60V is superimposed on a coaxial cable and supplied to the node 42 and to many relaying repeaters 44 connected to the node 42. Thus the power is supplied to the node 42, a trunk line branch amplifier, an extended amplifier, a tap-off, etc., from the end 41. Furthermore, the power can be sent to a 1st relay amplifier from the end 42 of a broadcast station along a single communication line at a low current level even via a conventional transmission line.
