To solve such problems that there is an urgent need for disaster-preventing measures against disasters like earthquakes, and that a multi-purpose disaster-preventing warehouse to be used at any time upon a disaster which may occur every decades is required.

An upper lid 4 and a lower bottom lid 5 are fitted by holdfasts to a cylindrical structure of a mesh-like body formed with circular steel bars 1 and vertical bars 2 of the same quality, which are assembled at needed intervals. An opening/closing door 7 is arranged on the lateral side. Assembling is performed by welding 3 necessary points of contact. The outside of the structure is covered by a covering cloth material 10. The disaster-preventing warehouse is always placed at hand for use as a storage. Upon disasters like an earthquake, a tornado or a storm, the warehouse is laid on its side with the opening/closing door down, and the holdfasts of the upper lid or the lower bottom lid are promptly removed to allow persons to enter, so that human lives and valuable goods are protected from collapsed objects 12, shattered objects 13, falling objects 11, etc.
