To integrally utilize the functions of a disaster prevention hood, heat resisting mittens, a flame-proofing mantle or a gas mask by a single backpack and to constantly and comfortably carry it by providing the functions of the disaster-prevention safety tools to an ordinarily utilized backpack.

The backpack is made to be alternative to disaster prevention tools. If the backpack is made of fire-resisting material or incombustible material and heat-resisting and heat-insulating material, the backpack becomes a disaster prevention hood by wearing it on the head as shown in Figure 1 after matters housed in the backpack are taken out in evacuation from a fire, etc. A belt-like small window is mounted in a bag main body so as to see outside. If the gas mask is used together or a small oxygen cylinder is built in the backpack to wear on the head, it effectively works against poisonous gas. If a pair of side pockets of the backpack are made of removable heat-resisting material, etc., they can be used as heat-resisting mittens which are effective in the case of evacuation. By incorporating a flame-proofing sheet in shoulder belts and taking out it in evacuation to spread and cover the front and rear sides of the human body, the backpack can be alternative to the flame-proofing mantle.
