Abstract:

To provide a disaster-preventive hood equipped with a fabric material which can mask the nose and mouth of a user and which can be stored in such a way that the fabric material does not uselessly hang down when the fabric material is not used.

The disaster-preventive hood includes: a hood part 20 to be put on the head of the user; a pocket 40 disposed on a side of the hood part 20 to open forward; and a strip-shaped fabric 50 whose one end is sewn inside the pocket 40 and whose other end is stored inside the pocket 40 in such a way as can be drawn out of the opening 41 of the pocket. The disaster-preventive hood further includes a zipper 42 disposed in the opening 41 of the pocket 40 to open the pocket 40 as a slider 43 is moved downward. The hood part 20 is composed of an inner fabric having a cushion material inside and an outer fabric sewn to the outside of the inner fabric. The pocket 40 is formed of a space between the inner fabric and the outer fabric. One end of the strip-shaped fabric 50 is sewn to the outer fabric constituting the pocket 40.
