Title:
DISASTER PREVENTIVE PILLOW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02261409
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a pillow for preventing disasters by which a person's safety can be kept, by a method wherein the subject pillow consists of both a hood having such a thickness as to be used as a pillow in a state of being overlapped each other and a transparent bag body held in the hood.

CONSTITUTION: A hood 1 which has such a thickness as to be used as a pillow in a state of being overlapped each other, is made and a transparent bag body 2 is held in the place where the hood 1 is overlapped. Besides the bag body 2, articles such as a small flash lamp 3 for emergency use and a small portable radio 4 for obtaining information, may be held in the hood 1, if necessary. In usual time, the hood 1 is used as the pillow as it is or after a simple pillowcase is covered on the hood 1. When a fire is caused, the transparent bag body 2 is taken out and is put on through the head, and thus smoke can be prevented. After that, a person can take refuge to a safe place without the smoke. When the head must be protected from falling-materials by an earthquake, the hood 1 is put on through the head and the person can take refuge. It is also possible to use both the hood 1 and the bag body 2 at the same time.
