Abstract:
To provide a disc brake capable of improving adhesion of a cover component to a caliper and preventing the cover component from being removed from the caliper, and the cover component.SOLUTION: A disc brake comprises: a plate member 111 that is provided on a claw part 57 of a caliper 13 so as to face a cylinder hole, has a recess part 81 having a groove 101 on an inner peripheral surface 91, and covers the recess part 81 from an axial direction of the cylinder hole; and a locking member 112 that fixes the plate member 111 to the caliper 13. The locking member 112 has: a fixing part 161 fixed to the plate member 111; a first inside bent locking piece 162 that extends from the fixing part 161 in the axial direction of the cylinder hole, and in which a first inside tip part 194 bent inward in a radial direction of the cylinder hole comes into contact with the groove 101; and a first outside bent locking piece 166 that extends from the fixing part 161 in the axial direction of the cylinder hole, and in which a first outside tip part 204 bent outward in the radial direction of the cylinder hole comes into contact with the groove 101.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
