Title:
DISC BRAKE FOR HOISTING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3229098
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable adjustment of a brake torque, maintenance, and check to be easily performed by forming a groove communicated with the outside in a housing hole of an electromagnet.
CONSTITUTION: A groove 2b communicated with the outer peripheral side of an electromagnet 2 is formed to a spring insertion hole 2a bored on the inside of the outer periphery of the electromagnet 2, so as to be formed into a U shape. As this result, the part is formed into a key hole shape as seen from the directions of the spring insertion hole 2a and the groove 2b (b). In a such constituted disc brake for a hoisting machine, when a nut 11 is fastened, the specific value can be easily and accurately set by seeing the compression length of a compression coil spring 6 by a scale regardless of unevenness of the length of a hexagon headed bolt 13. Accordingly, the adjusting work of braking distance in installing of an elevator can be shortened. On the other hand, when maintenance/check is performed, since the compression coil spring 6 can be directly seen from the outside of the groove 26, the maintenance/check time can be shortened.
