Abstract:

To prevent wear of an output shaft and a screw member, improve durability, prevent interference of a braking function due to an offset load acting on the output shaft and the screw member and reduce drag of a friction pad by suppressing transmission of drag torque received by a piston from the friction pad during braking to the output shaft and the screw member.

A housing hole 4f and a sleeve nut 10 are provided in a disc axial direction on an acting part 4a of a caliper body 4. The piston 8 is housed in the housing hole 4f. The screw member 11 is screwed to the sleeve nut 10 and the output shaft 14 is provided between the screw member 11 and the piston 8. A spherical abutting face 14e is provided on a large diameter part 14d of the output shaft 14 and it is abutted on a spherical abutting face 8d of the piston 8. A fastener 17 is attached to a tip of the output shaft 14, and a bottom wall 8b of the piston 8 is elastically held by the fastener 17 and the large diameter part 14d.
