Abstract:
PURPOSE:To clean a disc as it is being protected by providing a disc-cleaning duster inside the container. CONSTITUTION:When a cartridge type disc with a cover 30 is inserted through a cartridge inlet 1a of a disc container main body 1, the locking of a retainer lock part 20a of the said disc is released by a disc loading-unloading mechanism 2, and a disc cover 30 is removed leaving the disc 10 and the disc retainer 20 in the container main body 1. Then a cleaning cartridge 4 is inserted through the inlet 1a of the main body 1. The cartridge 4 is of box-shape, and when the disc 10 and the disc retainer 20 are included in its internal chamber, a brush 5 contacts the surface of the disc 10. By turning a rotary part 6 in the direction of the disc's circumference, the brush 5 is made turning to remove the dusts from the surface of the disc 10.
