Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a disc type steam trap which can be reused even if valve seat face of a valve disc and inner and outer ring valve seats is worn or cannot be closed due to adhesion of foreign matter.
CONSTITUTION: A polishing member 18 is mounted on the top face of a lid member 7 which forms a variable pressure chamber 8 together with a valve seat member 4 in the inside. When valve seat face of a valve disc 15 and inner and outer ring valve seats 13, 14 of the valve seat member 4 is worn or cannot be closed due to adhesion of foreign matter, the lid member 7 is removed from a main body 1, and the valve seat face of valve disc 15 and valve seat member 4 is polished by the polishing member 18.
