Abstract:
To provide a discharge lamp capable of inhibiting an open wire in a retaining member and an ultraviolet irradiation device with the discharge lamp capable of inhibiting an open circuit in the retaining member.SOLUTION: A discharge lamp includes a luminous tube with electrodes at both ends thereof; a wiring for supplying electric power to the electrodes; an external wiring for supplying the electric power to the other of the electrodes; and a retaining member mounted on an outside of the luminous tube and retaining the external wiring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
