To provide a discharge and transport method whereby the amount of fluidized particles discharged from a concentrated fluidized bed and the fluctuation of particle transport by a riser are decreased, enabling a stable uniform transportation.
In a method for upwardly discharging and transporting fluidized particles from a concentrated fluidized bed 1 to a riser section 5 which is a high-speed transport layer having particle size smaller than that of the concentrated fluidized bed, at least one intermediate tube section 3 is inserted into between the concentrated fluidized bed and the high-speed transport layer, thus enabling fluidized particles to be stably discharged and transported. When this method is applied to a circulating fluidized bed system, such as a downer- type FCC (a downflow-type fluidized catalytic cracking process), the operation is stabilized and the reaction performance can be improved by the sufficient progress of regeneration or decomposition reaction.
