Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a discharge valve possessing the characteristics of being possible to make a valve opening test by means of integrating a release valve device into the outlet site, realizing also easiness for sitework, and having the compact, light-weighted and lowpriced body.
CONSTITUTION: A seat 4 having a gate 3 is installed at a partition plate 1a that is located crosswise in the pass between the inlet and outlet pipe of the valve body V. In the cylindrical part 5b placed at a vertical section of the upper part of the valve body V, a cylindrical main valve 5 is installed on a seat 4 in a manner that a main valve 5 is always in contact with a seat 4 by a mechanical means, and that a side gate 5a of a main valve 5 plays a role of the orifice between an inlet 1 and a release gate 6. Further, a release valve 7 having a side gate 7a is installed in a manner that a valve 7 can close a gate 3 of a seat 4, and that the path is linked through a side gate 7a to an outlet 2. A blowout 8 is installed in a valve body V, and a blowout 8 is sealed by a seal 9. The valve opening test is carried out while a release gate 6 is attached to a branch pipe having a stop-valve for the test as well as a sensing element for controlling the valve-opening.
