Abstract:
To accurately estimate a discomfort degree perceived by a viewing viewer even if a shake image has various different shakes distributed over the entire screen at various different viewing distances including wide viewing field conditions.SOLUTION: A discomfort degree estimation device 2 includes: a low-frequency rotation shake correction amount calculation unit 30 that calculates a low-frequency rotation shake correction amount; an attraction degree correction amount calculation unit 50 that calculates an attraction degree correction amount for correcting a difference component in a region-specific attraction degree; an inter-moving-region distance correction amount calculation unit 70 that calculates an inter-moving-region distance correction amount that corrects a difference component in distance between prominent moving regions in consideration of a viewing distance; a shake recognition amount correction unit 80 that corrects a shake recognition amount estimation value using the low-frequency rotation shake correction amount, the attraction degree correction amount, and the inter-moving-region distance correction amount; and a total shake energy correction unit 90 that corrects an accumulated effect component of a discomfort degree for the shake that continues for a long time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
