Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restart data transmission/reception without casing about a program in a host computer and a terminal equipment user to be conscious of the connection of a data link in the case of restarting data transmission/reception after disconnecting a data link between a host computer and a terminal equipment by a communication processor because data transmission/reception between the computer and the terminal is not executed for a certain fixed time.
CONSTITUTION: When disconnection based upon non-communication monitor occurs, the communication processor 3 holds a cession with the host computer 1 without disconnecting it and disconnects a data link and a cession with the terminal equipment 6. When the equipment 6 is disconnected from the processor 3 by non-communication monitor, the equipment 6 holds its own state so as not to report the disconnection to a user. At the time of restarting data transmission/reception, the data link and the cession between the processor 3 and the equipment 6 are set up to restart the data transmission/reception. Consequently useless charging can be removed.
