Abstract:

To provide a discount method with which discount processing can be easily performed to an article label with a standard layout easily visible.

The discount method of the article stuck with the article label printed with a commodity description, barcodes, etc., comprises a step of inputting discount data for the article for discount to the discount label issuing system, a step of reading the barcodes displayed on the article label, a step of issuing the discount label which is provided with a projecting part to cover at least a portion of the barcodes in order to disable reading of the barcodes displayed on the article label and is printed with the barcodes including the discount information, and a step of sticking the discount label in a way so as to cover a portion of the barcodes in the article label of the article with the projecting part of the discount label.
