Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the responsiveness by switching automatically a transient state control to a steady state control when the controlled variable reaches near a set level and deciding the parameter of the control by a discrete time model to carry out an automatic tuning action. CONSTITUTION:A discrete time controller contains an ASC control function and a steady state control function. An operating means 2 having an input signal holding function is added to a controlled system 1. The controlled variable (temperature) of the controlled system 1 is detected by a sampling detecting means 4 and applies selectively to and ASC function block 7 or a steady state control function block 8 via a changeover switch 5 and a control function switch mechanism 6. The block 7 is used for control in a transient state and the sequence of an optimum manipulated variable is outputted to a switch 11. While the block 8 is controlled in a second sampling cycle and the output of the block 8 is outputted to the switch 11. Thus the switch 11 is switched simultaneously with switches 5 and 10 by a control function switch mechanism 6.
