Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a device to simply and properly manage model information covering various models and version information of various printed circuit boards.
SOLUTION: A printed circuit board 1A of a public phone 1 is provided with a model information output section 19 that outputs a voltage division level of a power supply voltage VDD depending on the resistance of resistors, R1, R2 as model information (c) of the phone 1 and with a version information output section 20, that outputs the voltage division level depending on the resistance of resistors R3, R4 as version information (a) of the printed circuit board 1A, and a printed circuit board 1A is provided with a version/model information output section 26 that outputs the voltage division level depending on the resistance of resistors R5, R6 as version information (b) of a printed circuit board 1B. Then an A/D converter 21A converts the model information (c) and version information sets (a), (b) from each output section into digital values and a CPU 21 discriminates the model of the phone 1 and the version of the printed circuit boards 1A, 1B, on the basis of the digital values.
