To provide a dishwasher constituted so that the constitution of elevating and lowering an elevating/lowering tray is simple, a large space for placing a dish basket can be secured inside a washing tub, and the upper/lower movement length of the dish basket can be sufficiently secured.
The dishwasher comprises: the washing tub housed in an outer frame body so as to be freely withdrawn; a freely rotatable rotary nozzle body provided on the inner bottom of the washing tub; a motor-driven pump provided on the lower side of the rotary nozzle body for pressurizing and supplying washing water to the rotary nozzle body; the dish basket for mounting dishes placed inside the washing tub and detachable from the washing tub; a mounting means elevated and lowered inside the washing tub in a state of mounting the dish basket; and a hanging rope for elevating and lowering the mounting means.
