Abstract:
To improve harmony in design between a dishwasher and other components of a system kitchen.SOLUTION: In a dishwasher, a box-shaped cabinet opened forward contains a washing tank opened upward so that the washing tank can be put in and taken out of a front opening of the cabinet in an anterior-posterior direction. A front side of the washing tank is provided with a front plate. A facing material to be attached to a front face of the front plate can be adjusted to substantially a same position according to a thickness of the facing material by facing material position adjustment means. The facing material position adjustment means is composed of spacers substantially symmetrically placed right and left. Front and back sides of the substantially symmetrical spacers can be exchanged with one another according to the thickness of the facing material, thereby allowing the front face position of the facing material to be adjusted to substantially the same position. Thus, the front face of the facing material attached to the front face of the dishwasher and a front face of a controller of the dishwasher can be rendered substantially flush with each other, thereby improving harmony in design between the dishwasher and the other components of the system kitchen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
