To execute data storage operations with simple configurations.
When either Write suppression or Read/Write suppression is set for an LDEV(#02) set in a first storage device 16 by a host computer 1, this setting is registered in an access attribute management table T3, and reflected on a migrate management table T2. The migrate control program P2 moves the LDEV whose access restriction is set to a second device 16L or an external storage device 5 with a lower speed(low performance). When access restriction is released, the moved LDEV is restored from the storage device at the movement destination to a first storage device 16H. Then, migrate control is executed cooperatively with the control of access attributes so that simple data storage function and data management function can be obtained.
