Abstract:

PURPOSE: To protect a brake fluid from the heat generated by the friction of a brake shoe against a disk and transferred by a caliper.

CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic working chamber 20 is formed between a piston 16 kept in contact with one brake shoe 12 and a caliper 18 kept in contact with the other brake shoe 14, and the inner walls of the working chamber 20 are covered with layers 22, 24 of a thermally insulated material.
