To provide a disk conveyance mechanism for an onboard disk player, capable of preventing the damaging of a disk being played after a sufficient vibration-proof clearance is secured.
An opening 2 is formed on the front side of a chassis 1 to face the disk insertion portion 4 of a nose member 3, a roller bracket 6 rotated and pressed in a direction for approaching the bottom surface of a guide member 5 is arranged in the chassis 1, and a buffer member 8 is secured onto a projected part 6a formed integrally with the roller bracket 6. When a second disk D1 is erroneously inserted during the playing of a first disk D, the outer peripheral side bottom surface of the disk D being played is pressed to the buffer member 8 by the inserting force of the erroneously inserted disk D1, and thus the rotation of the disk D being played is reduced in speed or stopped.
