To provide a disk storing container that efficiently stores disks, makes it easy to insert each disk or take it out and that can be manufactured at a low cost.
The disk storing container 1 includes: a plurality of disk cases 3 for storing disks 2; a container body 5 in the form of a bottomed angular tube so that the disk cases 3 are freely stored from an opening 4 formed in one end thereof; and a lid 6 for freely opening or closing the opening 4 of the container body 5. The container body 5 is formed so that when the disk cases 3 are stored in a stack, one end of each of the disk cases 3 are projected and exposed from the opening 4. Each of the stack of disk cases 3 has an oblique notch 8 formed in the one end projected from the opening 4, the oblique notches being formed obliquely such that the right notch alternates with the left notch. This allows fingers to be inserted in empty spaces of the oblique notches, thereby making it easy to take out each disk case 3.
