Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even an unskilled person to safely and easily scrap a waste electric wire. SOLUTION: The electric wire pinching interval of an electric wire pinching rotary pelting device 3 and an electric wire insertion guide 2 and the protruded length of an outer cover cutting blade 51 are automatically controlled in response to the thickness of the outer cover B of a multi-core electric wire A of various kinds. A press-wound tape T on the outer periphery of a stranded core wire group C is sucked and recovered by a vacuum suction device 9c. Twisting between an insulated covered core wire C1 and a twist insertion K is released, and they are separately aligned by a stranded core wire/insertion separating/aligning device 8, and a separately aligned core wire group C0 is fed to vacuum suction devices 9a and 9b to suck and recover the twist insertion K. The insulated core wire C1, with its insulating cover crushed by a core wire insulating cover crushing roller device 10, is finely cut into pellets P by a pellet cutting rotary blade device 11. The pellets P are sorted into conductor metal pellets P1 and insulating cover material pellets P2 by a conductor/ insulating cover pellet sorting device 12 to be recovered.
