Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the in-snow and on-snow works in lift platform areas regardless of the quantity of snow or snowfall and make the lift transporting work more efficient by close laying an upper part with a snow ski mat in the lift platform peripheral area of a skiing ground and covering the upper part with a roof.
SOLUTION: In a lift station E on the base of a mountain and a lift station F on the middle or top of the mountain, the lift platform area is set largely higher than the snow level of the slope around the entrance so as not to penetrate snow to the inner part. A snow ski mat 1 is laid flatly on the slope of the entrance and lift traveling port of the lift platform, and the range to be covered by the eaves of a roof 2 is set so that in-snow and on-snow works can be dispensed with regardless of snow or snowfall. Further, since the snow ski mat is not slippery with a large friction, compared with snow, the lift getting-off area is sloped about 10°-15° so as to smoothly slide skis, while the lift getting-on area remains flat.
