Title:
DISPENSER FOR SUTURE AND METHOD OF WINDING SUTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3696291
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To allow an easy packaging of sure with a needle at low costs by attaching the distal end of suture to a fixture point after the first and second panels are arranged to an installation tool by rotating the installation tool and winding the suture spirally.
CONSTITUTION: A suture dispenser consists of two fiat panels 100 and 110 in which openings 102 and 112 are installed to provide access points allowing for a suture needle 52 to be attached to a suture needle holder. In the first panel 100 a series of curved notches 104 are formed, which make a tub when moved from the flat surface of the panel 100. A slit 114 is installed in the second panel 110 at the time when the panels are assembled, so as to align in position with the tub of the first panel 100. Further, in each of the panels 100 and 110, fixture holes 106 and 116 are installed so as to cooperate with upright pins which form a part of the winding instrument. Thus, the suture can be wound within the dispenser.
