To provide a dispenser capable of evading an inadvertent push-in of a pressing head during distribution or storage of merchandise.
The dispenser includes: a base 1 fixedly retained at the mouth portion of a container, the base having a raised annular peripheral wall 1a along its outer peripheral edge; and a pressing head 2a disposed on the inside of the annular peripheral wall 1a of the base 1, which drives a pump mechanism P so as to suck, pressurize, and pump the contents within the container, and externally dispenses them through a nozzle, the driving of the pump mechanism being performed by repeating the operation of pushing-in and restoration with the inside surface of the annular peripheral wall 1a as a guide therefor. In this dispenser, a stopper 3 is provided that prevents pushing-in of the pressing head 2a by linking the pressing head 2a and annular peripheral wall 1a of the base 1. The stopper 3 includes: a substantially C-shaped body portion 3a having an inside surface along the outer peripheral wall of the pressing head 2a, and attachable to/detachable from the outer peripheral wall; and an engaging portion 3b provided on the inside surface of the body portion 3a, and engaging with the outer peripheral wall of the pressing head 2a while its lower end part is in contact with the annular peripheral wall 1a.
