Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the transmission of dispensing power to a cartridge holder by constituting a retaining flange as a box type structure consisting of at least two flat portions and webs connecting these flat portions.
CONSTITUTION: The retaining flange of the cartridge 1 consists of the two flat portions 2 and 3. The body of the cartridge penetrates the flat portions 2 and 3. The flat portions 2 and 3 have, for example, a rectangular shape and are interconnected by the webs 4 to form the extremely stable box type structure. The box type structure has the stability to sufficiently withstand the force for dispensing highly-viscose material from the relatively large dispensing cartridge. On the other hand, the retaining flange may be formed to be retained partially, for example, only on the two or three sides by the adapter of the dispenser.
