Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title dispersant consisting of a specific alkylene glycol monophenyl ether derivative and capable of excellently dispersing a synthetic fiber in an aqueous solution of poly(meth)acrylic amide.

CONSTITUTION: The aimed dispersant containing 40-100% compound expressed by the formula (R is 6-18C alkyl; A is 2-4C alkylene; m is 0-2; n is 3-25) and used in dispersing a synthetic fiber in an aqueous solution of poly(meth) acrylamide (having 10000-20000000 molecular weight) in a paper making process.
