To provide a dispersing agent suppressing the initial release of a physiologically active substance just after its administration, releasing a constant amount of the physiologically active substance for a long period and excellent in dispersing property and needle-passing through property as an injection preparation, and a sustained release preparation containing the same.
This dispersing agent is a 2-layer type dispersing agent containing a non-water soluble solvent and aqueous solvent. As the dispersing agent of microcapsules containing the physiologically active substance, the 2 layer type dispersing agent is used for suspending the sustained release type preparation, and when the preparation is administered subcutaneously, the initial release of the physiologically active substance just after the administration is suppressed by leaps and bounds, and the physiologically active substance is released by the constant amount from just after the administration for the long period. Also the dispersing agent is excellent in dispersing property and the needle-passing through property as the injecting preparation, and the sustained release type preparation having very excellent properties clinically as a medicine is obtained.
