Provided is a dispersing auxiliary agent for suspension polymerization having excellent handling properties in which, when the dispersing auxiliary agent for suspension polymerization is used for the suspension polymerization of a vinyl compound, coarse particles are less formed and vinyl resin particles having high plasticizer absorbability can be obtained. This dispersing auxiliary agent for the suspension polymerization of a vinyl compound, contains a vinyl ester polymer having an acid value (KOH mg/g) of 5-100 (exclusive of 100).
