Abstract:
To provide a dispersion management optical transmission line which can perform high-speed WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) transmission in a 1,570 to 1,620nm band (L-band).
The dispersion management optical transmission line includes at least one positive dispersion fiber having a positive dispersion and a positive dispersion slope in the 1,570 to 1,620nm band and and at least one negative dispersion fiber having the negative dispersion and negative dispersion slope in the same wavelength band, in which the dispersion value at 1,620nm of the positive dispersion fiber is 5 to 20ps/nm/km.
