PURPOSE: To remarkably decrease the moisture permeability of a transperence electrode and suppress deterioration of a light emitting layer due to moisture absorption of the light emitting layer to lengthen the life of an EL panel by forming a conductive film on a high molecular film made up of polyethylene naphthalate to constitute a transperence electrode.
CONSTITUTION: A reflection insulating layer 2 and a light emitting layer 3 are formed in order on a back plate 1. Next, a conductive film 4a is formed on a high molecular film 4b made up of polyethylene naphthalate to form a transperence electrode 4. Then, a transperence electrode 4 is lapped over so that the light emitting layer 3 and the conductive film 4a are placed inside, and they are heat-pressed to manufacture a dispersion type EL element.
