Abstract:
To increase brightness at any position of a display apparatus having a direct type back-light unit.
The display apparatus includes two or more fluorescent tubes arranged behind a display area of a display panel, and as to the fluorescent tubes as a fluorescent part, independent pairs of fluorescent tubes are arranged at unequal spacing; the fluorescent tubes of each pair are arranged at a same spacing; the spacing between the pairs is narrowest in the neighborhood of a predetermined boundary in the direction of the arrangement; and the spacing becomes wider according as it keeps away from the boundary.
