Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make both vertical and lateral vibration brought in an earthquake or the like absorbable and prevent ornaments from tumbling, falling or being damaged by vibration, by providing a display base with the top plate, the intermediate plate, and the bottom plate, connecting respective plates at every specified vertical distance and arranging cushioning materials in the spaces between respective plates.
SOLUTION: A display base for ornaments such as glass craft products is provided with the top plate 1, the intermediate plate 2, and the bottom plate 3 which are connected at every specified vertical distance (a) with cushioning materials 4-7. The cushioning materials 4, 5 absorb vertical vibration and the cushioning materials 6, 7 absorb the whole horizontal vibration. The cushioning material 4 is formed by a cylindrical torsion spring 4a and the cushioning material 5 is formed by a cylindrical rubber body 5a. A pair of guide rods 6a, 6b are installed at right angles and a pair of sliding pieces 6c, 6d are equipped on the respective guide rods 6a, 6b so as to freely slide, in the cushioning material 6. And the cushioning material 7 is formed by a tensile spring 7a.
