PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that displays an image for a user to determine whether or not a finish becomes the one a user intended when forming an image on both sides of a sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 displays a pre-view image MP showing a state that a specific area AR of a sheet P is turned over. The image forming apparatus 100 comprises a display 411, a determination part 503, and a display part 504. The determination part 503 determines a specific area AR such that a pre-view image MP includes at least one part of a first image M1 to be formed on a main surface of a sheet P and a second image M2 to be formed on a back surface of the sheet P.
