Abstract:
The present invention makes it easy to recognize information pertaining to a real object even in the case when there is a change in eye location or position of display region of a virtual image. In the present invention, a processor: causes a virtual image V10 of a first-mode image corresponding to a real object to be displayed in the case when the position of the real object falls within a first determinant actual scene region R10; causes a virtual image V20 (V30) of a second-mode image corresponding to the real object to be displayed in the case when the position of the real object falls within a second determinant actual scene region R20; and then expands the range of the second determinant actual scene region R20 on the basis of at least one aspect among the position of a display region 100, the eye location 4 of a viewer, the attitude of a vehicle, and information from which any one of the preceding three aspects can be estimated.
