Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce wiring provided between display units having display pixel each and a display controller at the display device.
CONSTITUTION: The pixel data sent from a display controller 10 by a serial signal is supplied to serially connected display unit sides 20, 21,... each having display pixel 20g and at the display unit 20 receiving a display command signal sent from the display controller 10 to the serially connected display unit sides, the pixel data transmitted from the display controller 10 is taken and display pixel 20g is energized and driven and after that, a series of operations are done for sending a newly generated display command signal to the following display unit 21 and thus, the pixel data serially sent from the controller 10 side is scanned and displayed at each display unit 20, 21,....
