Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for manufacturing a display device, in which water and oxygen reaching an organic light emitting diode (OLED) can be reduced.SOLUTION: An embodiment of the present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a display device 100 that includes a first substrate 110 including an organic light emitting diode layer and a second substrate 120 facing the first substrate. The manufacturing method includes the steps of: facing a first projection 131 and a second projection 132 to each other to bring the first and second projections into contact with each other, the first projection being formed on the first substrate so as to surround the organic light emitting diode layer and the second projection being formed on the second substrate; and joining the first projection and the second projection by applying a load and vibration to the first projection and the second projection in contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
