Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, etc., capable of detecting occurrence of a state in which an overcurrent flows, or to provide a display device, etc., capable of suppressing the occurrence of a state in which the overcurrent flows.SOLUTION: A display device 1 comprises: a display panel 10 in which the switch element of a display device 11 and a gate driver 12 having a transistor whose conduction or non-conduction is switched according to whether a prescribed voltage is applied thereto are formed of amorphous silicon; and a power supply circuit 40 for supplying a prescribed voltage for generating a scanning signal to be output from the gate driver 12 to a scanning line GCL of the display device 11. The power supply circuit 40 is provided with a booster circuit for outputting a voltage amplified on the basis of a prescribed first reference voltage to the gate driver 12, and an abnormality detection circuit for performing an output indicating that abnormality has occurred when the voltage generated by the booster circuit exceeds a prescribed second reference voltage.
